Artificial Intelligence Strategy

The Fund is developing a draft National AI Strategy (hereinafter referred to as the AI Strategy), taking into account the positive experience of foreign countries.

Regulatory sandbox

The “regulatory sandbox” (“experimental regime”) is a special set of rules that will allow Kazakhstani companies to test their innovative products and services in a controlled environment, without the risk of violating Kazakhstani legislation.
The key application of the “pilot regime” is associated with increasing the transparency of the processes taking place in the industry, as well as ensuring the predictable and safe functioning of innovative projects on the market.
To date, the Fund, together with the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, have worked out amendments regarding the mechanism for implementing the "experimental regime" within the framework of the current legislation

AI Technical Committee

119 “Artificial Intelligence" Technical Committee for Standardization was established on the basis of the Fund on September 16, 2021 in accordance with the Order of the Acting General Director of the Republican State Enterprise "Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology".
The main task of the Technical Committee in the field of artificial intelligence is to improve new methodological processes through the development of standards in the field of artificial intelligence, which will be associated with the unification of terms and definitions in the field of artificial intelligence, data description, information exchange, ensuring the mutual compatibility of intelligent systems.

International cooperation development on artificial intelligence
