About the Fund

The Fund for the Support of Research and Development in the Field of Artificial Intelligence was established in April 2019 in pursuance of the instructions of the Head of State in the field of the development of artificial intelligence by the decision of the Board of Trustees of "Nazarbayev University". The Foundation is one of the elements of the ecosystem for training, research and commercialization of AI in the country.

Our mission

to promote the development of artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan by integrating the interests and combining the efforts of the Government, the Nazarbayev University, the private sector and representatives of international organizations.

Our main goal

is to develop artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan in educational, research, scientific and technical, social, cultural, charitable, innovative, managerial, sustainable development and other socially useful areas.
